Welcome to the Peralta Retirees
Organization Home Page
The Peralta Retirees Organization (PRO) is an independent non-profit
organization whose members consist of retired employees - faculty,
staff, and administrators - of the Peralta Community College District
in Oakland, CA.
The objectives and purposes of PRO are:
- to provide assistance to and representation for the members
in matters relating to retirement;
- to generate and distribute information concerning retirement
issues;
- to initiate, sponsor and encourage activities that will improve
the general welfare of the members;
- to aid the greater Peralta Community College District community
through volunteer service;
- to accept, maintain and expend funds by way of dues, grants,
or from other sources to promote and advance these purposes.

as of January 1, 2006. Information about Peralta's medical
benefits program for retirees is now available on a new website.
The website includes extensive information including the current
summary plan descriptions, and downloadable claim forms.
